Miami expects Culpepper to be ready soon

Seahawks ink WR Ingram to multiyear deal

The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed Bobby Engram to a multiyear contract even though they already have a stable of younger receivers in place. Team president Tim Ruskell said Friday that experience and Engram's rapport with wide receivers Darrell Jackson, Deion Branch and Nate Burleson were among the reasons the 34-year-old is coming back for a seventh season in Seattle.

Crewman injured in pit road accident

Grand American Racing Series crewman Ty Manseau, hit in the head by a tire Friday at Homestead-Miami Speedway, was expected to be released from a Miami hospital. Manseau was taken to the Jackson Memorial Hospital trauma center, where he initially was listed in critical but stable condition with unspecified head injuries.
